How to add Chat only user role to agents

Do you want to invite your team to your company account to manage your livechat and leads conversations without the ability to edit any bots or any global settings for your account? You can do that by adding your agent as a Chat only user. Keep reading to learn more.

What is a Chat only user role?

The Chat only role is one of the account roles available in Continually. It is aimed to allow some of your agents to have livechat conversations and see info about your leads, and connect their calendars to have appointments in it. The account stripped down of the rest of Continually features and settings like building bots, managing integrations, or editing the company's settings.

How to invite a new Chat only agent

Go to Agents setting page.

Click on Add new agent button.

Enter your agent email, choose Chat user role and click on Add new agent button.

How to change current agent role

Go to Agents setting page.

Click on the View Profile link next to the agent that you want to change to a chat user.

In the Role drop-down list choose Chat user and Save.
